Breakers or fuses that are not labeled
I Like To Fix
Map the panel yourself on a quiet afternoon with a lamp and a helper. It costs nothing, it is the first thing any electrician will need, and in an emergency knowing which breaker kills which room matters.
This is most common in homes built before about 1940. Pre-war construction — galvanized supply, cast iron drains, cloth-wrapped wiring, ungrounded circuits.
You can handle this one yourself. No call needed.
